ART THERAPY

Art Therapy is an integrative and skilled approach to treatment that can enrich the therapeutic process.

This discipline applies developmental & psychological theories and overlays the individual's experience within a psychotherapeutic relationship.

We are always pleased to arrange  targetted art therapy sessions in conjunction with traditional therapy.

Art therapists are highly trained and are master-level clinicians. They work with people who are challenged with medical and mental health problems, as well as with individuals seeking emotional, creative, and spiritual growth.

Through integrative methods, art therapy engages the mind, body, and spirit through kinesthetic, sensory, perceptual, and symbolic processing.

Art therapy supports treatment goals by cultivating emotional resilience and reducing distress. Additional benefits include improvement of cognitive and sensory-motor functions, fostering self-esteem and awareness, and promoting pro-social skills.
