SUE BROWN, LCSW
Sue Brown, LCSW, began as a clinician at University Hospital, where she worked on both the inpatient unit and as a crisis worker in the ER. She has extensive experience working with teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, personality disorders, trauma, and substance use disorders. She also helps individuals who are experiencing faith crises and working through spiritual transitions.
Sue believes that we all have an innate drive toward self-realization. But there are times when we need help recognizing and removing barriers that hinder our growth and potential. By utilizing mind-body and cognitive interventions, Sue helps individuals tap into their inner wisdom and strength while helping them navigate the road to self-discovery. She believes in the mind-body-spirit approach to healing and considers the therapist-client relationship her top priority.
Sue earned her BA at Brigham Young University and her MSW at the University of Utah. In her personal time, she enjoys walking, reading, cooking and spending time with her family. As a lover of all dogs, Sue is on the market for a new furry companion.
