Meet Stephani

With years of experience as a runner and triathlete, Stephani was drawn to yoga as a cross-training outlet. In addition to injury prevention, she was attracted to the simplicity, freedom of movement, and non-competitive nature of yoga. Steph began teaching yoga in 2004 and is certified at the 500-hour level. She has found it to be a great component of a strong wellness philosophy in both her own life and the lives of others.

In her practice, Steph leads students through deeply restorative yoga forms that are guided by the breath. Trauma-informed yoga allows the participant to make deliberate choices to explore and notice the sensations and emotions that may emerge as the individual restores the mind/body connection.

Stephani has a BS in Speech and Hearing Science and an MS in Community Health Education and has worked in the public health and wellness fields since earning her degrees. She is passionate about enriching her yoga practice and loves both the transformative and physical aspects equally. She believes we can all meditate if we’re able to simply breathe.

Stephani is an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves to tear up single-track or hunt for powder at Snowbird with her husband and two kids.
